How to play

You already know how. Here it is anyway.

Shaft Ascent takes about forty seconds to learn. Nothing below involves money, deposits or prizes — only virtual coins and the cabin they grow.

  1. 01 — Registration

    Create a free account

An email address and a password is all we ask for. Your cabin opens with 12,000 virtual coins already planted.

  2. 02 — Spin cost

    Choose your spin cost

Pick 20, 40, 80 or 200 virtual coins per spin. This is a pacing dial for the game loop — never a wager, never money.

  3. 03 — The round

    Spin the three-by-three board

Five paylines run across it: the top, middle and bottom rows, plus the rising and falling diagonals. Your spin cost is split evenly between them.

  4. 04 — Progression

    Watch the Floor Meter

Each winning result adds a stage; each quiet result removes one. Fill all five and the cabin enters its Express phase.

  5. 05 — Express

    Ride the Express phase

Symbol weights shift, the palette turns violet and the next award carries a bonus — paid, like everything else, in virtual coins.

  6. 06 — Daily coins

    Top up free, every day

Your balance refills on a daily rhythm at no cost. Running low is never a reason to spend, because there is nothing to spend.

Reading the board

Nine symbols, one glance.

Winning symbols gain a mint outline and the payline that paid is drawn straight across the board. The round log on the right records every result so you can scroll back through the session, and the message line under the board always states exactly what happened, in words, for screen readers and for anyone who prefers text to fireworks.

Ride for Free

  • Two matching from the left

A quarter of the symbol multiplier on that payline, plus a stage on the Floor Meter.

  • Three matching

The full symbol multiplier, applied to the per-line share of your spin cost in virtual coins.

  • Three Elevator Cores

The rarest line in the cabin, and the largest award on the paytable at one hundred times the per-line amount.

Playing your way

Keyboard, screen reader, reduced motion.

Tab to the Spin control and press Space or Enter to play a round. Spin-cost buttons are a labelled group and report their pressed state. Every result is announced through a live region, so nothing about the game depends on seeing the animation.

If your system asks for reduced motion, the reels resolve instantly instead of spinning and the atmospheric particles switch off entirely. Nothing is lost — the outcome logic is identical either way.
